Fines & Fees Policies

Sixth through twelfth grade students will be accessed a fine of $.10 per school day per overdue library book. Overdue fines do not accumulate on Saturdays, Sunday, school holidays, unassigned days, or school breaks (Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer) Elementary students, while being expected to return library books on time, will not be accessed overdue fines.

When an overdue fine equals $5.00, the library book will marked lost and the student will be accessed a library book replacement fee. Lost book fees for elementary students (K-5) are $25 and $30 for secondary students (6-12). Lost book fines are accessed for the replacement and processing (adding barcodes, labels, pockets, etc.) of any replacement books. Students may choose to buy a new hardcover on their own and submit it to the Library.

Students with overdue fines and/or library books will be unable to check out any additional books until the fines have been paid or lost and/or damaged library books have been replaced.
