Emily Yamano's Class Page
Hello students and families,
My name is Emily Yamano and I am incredibly excited to be entering my fifth year teaching fourth grade at Lake Balboa College Prep. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with my master's degree in education, with a concentration in curriculum and instruction. After graduating from CSUF, I worked as an instructional assistant in a first grade Structured English Immersion (SEI) classroom in the Irvine Unified School District. I have also worked as a long term substitute teacher in both third and fifth grade.
Fourth grade is an absolute blast! I love to integrate the arts and technology throughout my curriculum to ensure that all students are engaged and empowered to demonstrate their best work. Students will strengthen their knowledge of the grade level standards through both fun and educational activities. Let's have a great year together!
