Meet Our Counselor

Lake Balboa College Prep’s secondary counselor is Dale Reinert. Dale joined the LBCP staff in the Fall of 2017.  

Dale started in LAUSD at the start of the 2003-2004 school year. Dale’s has been a high school English teacher, elementary, middle, and high school counselor, and a district administrator.  He has worked in Rhode Island, New York City, Iowa, Wisconsin, and California. 

Dale earned a bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in Counseling from Fordham University in New York City. He has completed post-graduate studies at Immaculate Conception Seminary, University of Wisconsin, Loras College, University of Wisconsin – Platteville, University of California at Irvine.
Dale holds permanent credentials from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in the areas of School Counseling and School Administration.
