Welcome to the 2022-23 Academic Year at Lake Balboa College Prep. Magnet! I'm Cory Harrington, 6th. Grade Math / Science / ELD teacher.  This will be my 30th. year in LAUSD, where I've worked as Teacher, Coordinator, and Instructional Coach.  I'm excited to be in my fourth year as a math, science, and ELD Teacher here at Lake Balboa!  In my spare time I enjoy gardening and reading.  Our 6th. grade math, science, and ELD programs feature rigorous, challenging, but fun curricula that provide a strong foundation for future work in Middle and High School grade levels.  I encourage you to maintain good attendance, participate in class, and keep up with individual and group assignments!
